Let America be America again. Let it be the dream it used to be. Let it be the pioneer on the plain Seeking a home where he himself is free. (America never was America to me.)

Let America be the dream the dreamers dreamed-- Let it be that great strong land of love Where never kings connive nor tyrants scheme That any man be crushed by one above.

(It never was America to me.)

O, let my land be a land where Liberty Is crowned with no false patriotic wreath, But opportunity is real, and life is free, Equality is in the air we breathe. (There's never been equality for me, Nor freedom in this "homeland of the free.")

Say, who are you that mumbles in the dark? And who are you that draws your veil across the stars?

I am the poor white, fooled and pushed apart, I am the Negro bearing slavery's scars. I am the red man driven from the land, I am the immigrant clutching the hope I seek-- And finding only the same old stupid plan Of dog eat dog, of mighty crush the weak.

I am the young man, full of strength and hope, Tangled in that ancient endless chain Of profit, power, gain, of grab the land! Of grab the gold! Of grab the ways of satisfying need! Of work the men! Of take the pay! Of owning everything for one's own greed!

The free?

Who said the free? Not me? Surely not me? The millions on relief today? The millions shot down when we strike? The millions who have nothing for our pay? For all the dreams we've dreamed And all the songs we've sung And all the hopes we've held And all the flags we've hung, The millions who have nothing for our pay-- Except the dream that's almost dead today.

O, let America be America again-- The land that never has been yet-- And yet must be--the land where every man is free. The land that's mine--the poor man's, Indian's, Negro's, ME-- Who made America, Whose sweat and blood, whose faith and pain, Whose hand at the foundry, whose plow in the rain, Must bring back our mighty dream again.

Sure, call me any ugly name you choose-- The steel of freedom does not stain. From those who live like leeches on the people's lives, We must take back our land again, America!

O, yes, I say it plain, America never was America to me, And yet I swear this oath-- America will be!

Out of the rack and ruin of our gangster death, The rape and rot of graft, and stealth, and lies, We, the people, must redeem The land, the mines, the plants, the rivers. The mountains and the endless plain-- All, all the stretch of these great green states-- And make America again!

I'd like to begin this with a glance back in time 2008 when gas prices were at an

 all time high and jobs loss 800,000 a month and unemployment was at its highest since the great depression; and banks like Goldman Sachs, ENRON, AIG, JP Morgan, they all were selling junk bonds and the housing market all were on the brink of ruin. TARP bailouts, 2008-2009.

1/3rd of Americans didn't have access to health insurance, due to pre-existing conditions, there was no coverage for adult children at home or in college past age 21. 

The Republican Party 2001-2005 held both houses and voted for biggest tax cuts in history during war depleted the US Treasury and 2009 called the first African American President a liar out loud interrupting his speech during his first State of the Union Address because of his remarks about immigration, remember "You lie!" 

Why does America want to put them back at the realm;
After 6 years and 75 repeals, a government shutdown?  The Republican Majority in the House has no replacement plan for the Affordable Care Act better known as Obamacare.

They're defiance alone has staggered the economic recovery for many middle to low income Americans.  Have judges who advocate from the bench; 2014 Ebola was first unleashed because the state of Texas has no health care policies in place. Their delegates i.e., TX delegation Ted Cruz and Louie Gomer have trashed all bills coming to the house and senate floor.  Also, Ted Cruz was single handily responsible for the government shutdown.

Obstructing any and all olive branches that came from the Executive Branch.  In order to reclaim total power in all three branches of government.  The Supreme Court of the United States is party neutral yet you nobody called out the government officials of that state to be accountable for their policies which hurt women and other minorities due to gerrymandered districts, which was implemented by Former Congressman Tom Delay from Texas, who eventually served time in prison for some shady mismanagement of funds. 

Why does America not realize that the right leaning Supreme Court upheld Citizens United RIP Antonin Scalia advocated while on the bench for outlawing, affirmative action, voting rights act, Roe vs. Wade woman's right to choose, and protection of the gun lobbyist. These cases were already litigated and settled 48 and 50+years ago.

Governor Chris Christie hugged President Obama and said during Hurricane Sandy cleanup he would rebuild; where are the funds promised to those people in New Jersey who lost their businesses, homes and possessions?

Why does America forget about the disasters that have happened over the years yet Republicans fail to govern and send budget cuts to the Senate that hurt average Americans such as SNAP and the Farm bill.

A government shutdown 2010 that almost ruined our nation’s credit rating.

Despite the huge headwind, President Obama endured still managed to accomplished a lot through executive order; passed a major health care law while the Democrats briefly held both Houses;

1st: January 4, 2007 – December 19, 2007 2nd: January 3, 2008 – January 3, 2009,

In 2010 lost back House to Tea Party Republicans who rejected all bills sent from the Whitehouse, many were for infrastructure, help get the economy stimulated get middle class back to work but they died on the way those Jobs bills to Congress controlled by GOP leaders Speaker of the House who opposed any bills coming from the direction of the Executive Branch; Mitch McConnell and others spent Obama's Inauguration evening with 15 other strategist in 2009 while the newly elected President & First Lady were being serenaded by Beyoncé' singing rendition of Etta James "At Last"  famous song, meanwhile Newt Gingrich, and the other Strategist plotted a course to deny and delegitimize Obama's presidency and destroy his legacy. The Minority leader went so far that on the Senate floor he vowed that his main agenda was to see that Barack Obama was a one term President and he hoped his Administration failed.

The media whose always fueling the dueling coroneted Hillary Clinton, and loyal Democrats rallied to get her the nomination; what' was her message, it was I'm next in line, I want to be the 1st woman elected as President regardless of the baggage her opponents set for her.  Yet she ran almost unopposed by the Democratic Party based upon loyal peers who often sought her and Bill Clinton's endorsement and support it was payback time.  What she accomplished during her tenure as Secretary of State besides promote issues that compliment her agenda, was destroyed by hearings on Benghazi, and a stand-alone server.  Previous Secretaries of Defense Robert Gates and Leon Panetta both publish memoirs to embarrass Obama administration. Yet both of them knew the President regarded their advice in handling most Middle East foreign affairs.  

How soon we forget, because it’s not good to remember the roughest times... but when Obama had to send stimulus packages to the House and Senate to bailout this country they bailed out all of the largest banks, even two mentioned above and the Federal Reserve kept their word to yield on interest rate lowest ever and buy government bonds.  How could they forget the working man, our infrastructure? Jobs were never created to put our working class people back to work.  No investment in fixing our middle economic structure, research and development programs cut funding for Education, Planned Parenthood, EPA, CDC, and VA, and many other government funded programs that would have stabilized the middle class of America just the same as Wall Street; yet due to the GOP shutdowns/stubbornness to made austerity cuts mandated due to stalemate. Instead of stimulating the middle of America they only stimulated the wealth or the 1% which saved wall street the DOW has hit two historical highs since President Obama was elected in 2012.Unemployment is at an all-time low since 2008 4.9% more Americans are back to work but at lower wages, which again the minimum wage bill is being blocked by the GOP (while the NRA is controlling the RNC Republican National Committee). Alongside of blocking confirmation of Supreme Court Nominee to replace Justice Scalia. Convincing constituency that Congress is upholding the constitution, I think not!

Since domestic terrorism began, experienced high body counts but the gun lobbyist refused to allow legislation for background checks to ensure that mentally unstable or any terrorist wouldn't get guns. They oppose any immigration legislation to legitimize undocumented, finally the Republicans want to eliminate any right to choose or contraception available to women, yet no mention of what Viagra has done to men who often die from heart disease.

We need to wake up and stop allowing the media to feed us what we should think or our pastors whether you are for either party, you have to wake up and realize that the scales of justice and equality are tilting to one side; that's to the privileged whose party affiliation is Money and Power!  (Let's end Citizens United)

2009- President Obama has done some amazing things for this Nation - we haven't had any terrorist attacks since 911, and he has tried to meet his counter parts half way but each time they only seek to bring him down and embarrass him as a world leader.  History will write his-story quite well.  How soon we forget he caught Bin laden, he responded to Ebola in Africa with troops building hospitals; he didn't go to war in Syria two reasons 1.) It’s a Civil War that will never end 2.) Who’s the enemy and who the rebels are, and all agreed Bashar al-Assad must go; so he formed a coalition of Nations to deal with the crisis.

 Now he's fighting his fellow countryman to prevent a ground War but establish the groundwork for limiting nuclear proliferation in Middle East.  Rejected outright by same individuals who rallied and fueled fear enraged the population to go to war in Iraq.  They were wrong had no strategy and the result same soldiers we trained ran away from the fight with ISIS.  Trillions on propping up a government unprepared 10 years later. 

 ISIS is Saddam Hussein's former Military that went underground, Late in 2003, after the Americans had defeated and disbanded Saddam’s army, Baghdadi helped found Jaysh Ahl al-Sunna wa-l-Jamaah (Army of the People of the Sunna and Communal Solidarity), an insurgent group; that's what Dick Cheney and Fox News don't tell you.

This decision not to go into Syria has spared lives of our sons and daughters some veterans who still haven't received help from Congress after being wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan.  George W. Bush and; Dick Cheney Administration started this mess when they went into a sovereign Country to westernize them for control of their minerals "OIL" black gold.

Now they're fighting to maintain the foot hole in that region.

President Eisenhower/General Eisenhower called it "The Industrial War complex he warned about these things we see in Foreign Affairs today which generates billions of dollars for DOD hires thousands of private contractors, training, feeding, and housing our troops, building internal infrastructure for IT in Green zone.  These jobs would have been given to civil service workers in 1958-1980.  Since the days of Ronald Regan, government has gotten more and more private. So whose surprised that they all are living in chaos 13 years later after the UN inspectors left without finding weapons of mass destruction and the US hasn't seen a "mushroom cloud" to date. Lastly, gas prices are down to the lowest in years because of President Obama energy policy that is working. Fracking has proved to cause a lot issues, Nebraska American Indians protested and won, but questions about the environment have not proven out but, the GOP say’s the Keystone pipeline is the key to economic growth; well if so how come it only creates 50,000 jobs?

They are banking on fear and hate to get their "base" out well; we do have to be cautious because middle America is about to end as we know it if they get control and a possible impeachment of this President for his promise to sign an executive order on immigration for he isn't like "Washington" and that's what we voted for he doesn't spend evenings drinking with Congressman or Senators but at home with his wife and children, no He's not like Washington those Ole pol's who do backroom deals like establishing Jim Crow laws after the emancipation.

How soon we forget the good old "Southern Strategy" and how LBJ's fight on poverty swiftly changed to WAR and became the fight in Vietnam. Over 500,000 lives lost...

I saved the best for last recent news one month before he leaves office these are the headlines 

"Israel summons US ambassador as Netanyahu lashes out at Obama" our friends.

 Benjamin Netanyahu is a friend with Adelson, Trump's son in law and others who tend to not get that there is an agreement they're not upholding to it. Since 1968. But they keep building settlements on the West Bank, and now the incoming President Elect Donald Trump nominated an Ambassador who’s his bankruptcy attorney who’s so pro-Israel he wants to move the Embassy to Jerusalem...

The world alliances are watching from a distance and will judge and condemn those who seek adversity over peace.

 Israel has powerful Billionaire Republicans friends, and a Democrat with power Chuck Schumer the new Minority Leader whose main objective is protect Prime Minister Netanyahu although feels justified to insult, besmirch the sitting President Obama's integrity. 

Since Donald Trump got elected his Administration will be in control of diplomacy in Middle East with peace talks; So far how he's handling peace between 2 tribes Palestine and Israel with one state solution. By taking sides with Israel of course!  Netanyahu was invited by former Speaker of the House Boehner with the audacity to give a speech to the 113th Congress House Republicans to undermine our 44th President. Netanyahu is considered a friend of who? After President Obama gave them 39 Billion dollars in aid that's no friend but a major FOE!

How soon we forget........... VOTE 2016 [2014] but make sure the person you cast the ballot for is working in your best interests and not their own. Listen to what they say don't react to what sounds good. It's time to stop the bickering and obstruction and invest in America's future before we all lose, EVERYTHING!

Trump Won! ....but then Judas thought he'd won too 30 pieces of silver.....

Gods plan don't always coincide with our earthly, carnal ways of rationalizing. God doesn't always show his hand, so it doesn't make sense to some or all.

A role as father is a commitment.

The Most Highest Deity, is the best example of this. The Author and Finisher of all Men and Humankind, creatures that creep upon the earth....

Men, not just African American Males are born to believe it's okay to father children and not be committed to them. Commitment is lacking to our struggle, where are the real Fathers? I mean we are really caught up on the drive by love affairs, half on a baby R Kelly comes to mind.

We really do not have any true examples of, that type of commitment but, once you take on the role as a father even if you have legally adopted a child, once the marriage or relationship sank didn't mean no responsibility to the care for the child ... lets get real!

 Man Up and be that father, a "daddy" any two people can make a baby. Why should a child suffer because of  wrong decision or bad choice.  None of us can choose our parents, siblings, or relatives.  We come into this world innocent butt naked, with no consciousness of worldly belongings, we unconditionally love our parents, we have to trust them to do the right things.

Now let me kick the scripture as normal it's not me but GOD speaking through me, to me and I love to spread the Love.....

We have some strong role models our first African American President, Barack is a beautiful example of what real Kings are made of, and he can't change his mind and walk or run, getting locked up and put into drama being distracted by so many beautiful women in the World..... African, Asian, European, Latino so many choices.

When you make a commitment to a partner or marry regardless of the challenges, growing pains is what makes any relationship stronger.  Once, you become a Father when the going gets rough, people fall short we become dismayed.  Often times looking for another mate on the side which complicates life even more.  Remember the  young people in your life the adolescent watch your every move and often emulate the same behavior once they've grown into a man or woman, a reflection of you.

An Essay EMBRACING CHANGE CONFRONTING THE FEAR of LIVING & BEYOND

"For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" 

(2 Tim. 1:7)

 Thought: Fear knocked at the door Faith answered. No one was there. 

 Many years ago I listened as a friend of mine shared in a anonymous meeting he was very articulate and said that prior to getting clean the one thing he feared most was change, but being a man meant standing perpendicular before GOD and when he had made a decision to turn his will and life over to the care of GOD that replaced all of his fear. Then he said something that most people don't say in those closed meetings instead using the term "God of my understanding" or "Higher Power" he said the name of Jesus Christ. The room was quiet as he spoke loudly and bold and later those comments were made people refer to him as a spiritual giant he begged to differ by responding to them by simply saying "I'm no spiritual giant but there is a GIANT in my spirit."

That takes a lot of courage for anyone to admit to have any fears at all publicly, but many of us do. We often become complacent or get comfortable with our lives then don't realize that when we aren't challenging ourselves often we become stale, stagnate, and we stunt our growth. It's like eating the same thing for dinner every other day because it's routine quick and easy then on Saturday you treat yourself to fast food at McDonald's at the same spot order the same thing and every time it tastes good until one day it loses the appeal and taste. Another analogy would be to wear the same hairstyle everyday for a period of time never change the way you comb it even part your hair the same place. The hair style that used to get compliments somehow appears dull and played out.

Change comes often and people evolve just as quickly as the seasons change. We work hard at perfecting a routine with our friends, lovers, or spouses only to look up one day and find that they have drifted off in another direction and many times instead of accepting the fact we either run or walk quickly in the opposite direction because we lose the stamina to embrace them where they are at and the same thing holds true when we experience changes in our lives a need to shift gears or do something different to improve ourselves. We can also shift into reverse gear and do some things that destroy our character and ruin relationships.

But one thing that is constant in change, if nothing changes, nothing changes. As the saying goes where ever you go there you are. So you can't be afraid of what we understand or don't understand in life or death, sometimes it has no explanation. So many of us are never prepared financially, mentally, or spiritually and the end result is devastation.

When we are young their is a feeling that we will live forever or are invincible, can leap tall buildings in a single bound. As we mature and experience life we get some hard knocks and realize that some of those buildings just a tad to steep to leap across. That's when we become more practical in some cases people just ignore the facts. Some die young or live miserably because they foolishly believe they can trick life and end up the trick. Pay now or pay later the bill is always in the mail and one day you have to pay. So if you living in a comfort zone, maybe it's time to raise the bar a little, you can always become better - strive for change. Remain teachable, humble, and lovable. Don't be afraid to embrace change - because if you living a fruitful life you can surely count on an eternal peace when you exit the building (your body) a living temple.

We never know what God's plan is for us - remember that it's okay to make the plans but you can never plan the outcome.

Faith and hope is your best weapon to overcoming fear. Prayer is your insurance policy. Love is unconditional keep an open heart and willing mind. Even when it seems like your down you might be down but not out. Like my friend said look straight up stand perpendicular to GOD. Fear not. As Human beings we fall short and have many shortcomings but GOD has never failed or come up short. Fact we can count on the sunrise and sunset. Fact we know that there is a moon and will always come out in a way shape or form. We know that the seasons will change and we always prepare for those changes. Just like us we go through many seasons in life, but If we can trust GOD to do all of that, we can trust Him with our own changes that affect our lives today. Just for today, we can hope for a tomorrow and plan ahead. But no matter how it all turns out we embrace it with humility without beating our chest in vain glory.

Our faith shows us what we cannot see.

An idea begins with a thought and then is brought forward into reality. An artist sees the painting in his mind before it ever touches the canvas. He touches the canvas until what was inside of his mind sets before him and the passion makes him more eager to bring it forth. Imagination is just an image in our mind we decide when begin - to make it a reality. Most of us go to bed at night convinced that surely they are waking up in the morning and that's okay too. That's called having faith.

Faith without works is dead being alone - change should not be feared but reverenced. It takes courage to color outside the lines step outside the box- change is an inside job with you the individual and often has a ripple effect on others. If Beyonce wakes up in the morning and decided to go short, blond, and curly. Just by changing her mind she will influence females to go blonder, short, and curly too because it looks so good on her, they are convinced that look surely will look good on me too.

Change allows you the luxury of knowing who really is for you and whoever stays around to see that person evolve til the end are the ones you come to love and trust. These are the people who are not afraid to be honest with you right or wrong, good or bad. They are your mirror, mirror on the wall. Always have one friend that won't lie to you even when it hurts and you can be reciprocal in love, spirits, and truth. Nine times out of ten this is the person you probably have even taken for granted along the way. Embracing Change brings you face to face with love, love of self, life, and GOD.

The Tongue gives choice to speak anything into existence even the desires of our heart.

Negative Words are very detrimental it can be the curse to change the entire trajectory of your life I see them as the Artillery a thought in your mind but once its out of your mouth goes straight into the Wind

It carries your words straight to GODS EARs! Once it leaves your lips what you say is a prayer of petition. That's why you pray in the Name of Jesus Christ, it's a done deal. "Be Careful What You Pray for, You Just Might Get It!"

 Positive Words you speak can uplift your character and encourage you during any test its like currency (money) which increases

 "Faith" 

Strength for the journey (the footwork) towards your Destiny

Be Still and Wait
Trust GODs Timing

If you have a conscious mind to listen before you speak, ears that can hear and never allow other people negative thoughts or perceptions of you become your reflection ....

 So many people are suffering and small businesses are collapsing due to the manipulation of men. We can all enjoy prosperity it's more than enough in this world. Please you radical haters don't believe I'm a flaming socialist because that's so not true, I love you too and want you to prosper in life. Be comfortable and know we can all exist and enjoy our portion. Problem is everybody wants to be in control or to control authority even to bargain with GOD based on the size of your tithe. I believe the book of Acts illustrates how GOD views that ritual, all of it belongs to Him if he wants it all back give it to Him... And by no means take all the credit for achievements accomplished because GOD is a jealous GOD he loves shout outs. Why cause it helps the doubters believe in An Infinite power so yes He'll bring up Men inspired to do good i.e., T.D.Jakes, as most leaders He has raised up the real ones will stand out above the ones who are false put it this way, Bishop is God's Man. So if I had to come under a Man of God as Pastor he mine... I've learned so much about being a wholesome christian, some days I don't even believe how much GOD has moved in my path to demonstrate that I'm not running nothing. I had spiritual constipation because I wanted to pray then take the credit for the achievement.

Living in these days that's seems absurd people automatically think it's weakness, but I beg you People of Faith or searching for an answer; He illustrates how the people building the tower of Babel tongues were confounded; King David indiscretions by taking advantage of his power in sleeping with another mans Urieh 's wife Bathsheba.  Who slept at his front door, instead of going home to be with his wife, committed and loyal to King David's throne. Conspired to cover up the adultery then orchestrating his death sending him to battle on the front line as a means of covering up the crime.. 


The cover up is always worse than the crime! Everyone is down with that in this day in time and GOD still watching and if he corrected King David who worshiped and adored GOD, who are we as a Nation that should get away free?

WORDS of MASS Destruction is the cause of many maladies cause problems... Wickedness is inbred meaning that we all have sinned and do so on a daily basis it has no color basis.
As Human beings we need to stop beating up on one another and trying to make one feel that perfection exist. It doesn't in this dimension. It exists, but we all must atone even you my friend. We may fellowship but each person is accountable by knowing GOD for yourself; with Jesus as your advocate in Heaven meaning you must come to a point in your life to accept Christ in your heart is a intimate decision. That's definitely a case by case basis. 
Yet not one of us even my Bishop can claim perfection this is what we strive for into eternity. WMD is the tongue once we learn to control it and LOVE one another color won't matter..... not one bit! Speak LIFE to loved ones and friends instead of lies, rumors, and gossip. Stop trying to straighten out someone else's business and work on your own. My take on it is that even during these hard times unemployment rising, foreclosures, homelessness; the celebrity sites are booming with gossip about this celeb and that rap artist.. In other words even if the grass looks greener in your friends backyard just stay focus on you and water the grass in your own yard. Put energy into showing respect for others and a kind word from time to time.

Well, most of those terrible things that are taking place in our homeland today I believe not what nobody done said is of how we treat our fellow Americans and take much for granted. con't below;

We live in a democracy and our republic allows freedom of expression, differences of opinions at the end of the debate in a free society composed of many races, creeds, and colors we learn how to Unite as one Nation*

It's just this simple if you can't say anything nice; don't say nothing at all. Those unkind words, thoughts, which become deeds could hurt someone you love or care about.

 America is a land full of immigrants and most of these people against immigration and President Obama neglect this fact we all traveled by boat to get here all races except the AZTEC, Comanche, Navajo, Black Foot, nameless Native American tribes all on reservations in this country in poverty as we speak... now they're flaming more division by talking of repealing the 14th Amendment. Hateful speeches and puppet dolls dangling to disrespect our first African American President Obstructing our government by withholding a congressional vote in order to benefit only 1 group of individuals. I was listening to the figures of what the companies would have to pay based on profit level of small business $400 pays $12k more in taxes once tax cuts expire so they rather see this country collapse instead of vote to give small businesses help which would help the really small businesses 1 man entrepreneurs hire helpers Americans who take money directly to retailers for cars, clothes, this is the average worker the major consumer's. Sending jobs overseas is their policy in order to give away $millions in bonuses yet they upset about expiring tax cuts and paying higher taxes, I struggle to get to work pay check to paycheck and living in a modest small room. But I thank GOD for it as if it were a mansion and will continue to give Him praises & honor for all that I have life, liberty, and  a chance to achieve prosperity. 

I leaned my lesson by being humble, and controlling the words the flow out of  my mouth, and better than that how I treat and approach others. That's not easy everyday. I still cuss... All kidding aside. So this might seem preachy, political, and OMG how dare she go there to those who know me but if you live long enough you pray hard enough GOD can and will change your life if you really seek to serve Him, I'm always praying for Him to keep me humble enough to be led and taught by good leaders raised up by Him. That I have the strength to come under authority let somebody love me and take some risk by faith, speak life into your life and the lives of others stop being so hateful if you can't help a brother out as a hand up don't say a negative comment ~ and for those who feel pitiful or pity others stop that, speak life over that person, you too are highly favored and truly blessed even when you can't see it! Doesn't mean I trust every human being that crosses my path but I can be more patient and understanding while they are journeying onward and if I can assist in anyway be willing if GOD makes me able or given me enough to do the right by others. A hand up not a hand out.. theirs a difference.

Take time before you speak to understand the power you hold; you may consider it as insignificant. The way words may come across to whatever group of people you hang out with ( your inner circle or outer circle) that value your opinion{s}. Be mindful that when you prophesy or project negative words then later to find out it came around. 

Speak life to some body's life, and be encouraging. Learn how to step out on faith when a situation appears hopeless; learn to stop hating long enough to listen and discern what makes sense vs. what is just mean spirited; ignorance; or plain old wasted energy.  These are the people who believe in the same Jesus I believe in yet they forget is last commandment "

John 15:1-16Amplified Bible (AMP)

15 I am the True Vine, and My Father is the Vine dresser.

2 Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit.

3 You are cleansed and pruned already, because of the word which I have given you [the teachings I have discussed with you].

4 Dwell in Me, and I will dwell in you. [Live in Me, and I will live in you.] Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (being vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me.

5 I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing.

6 If a person does not dwell in Me, he is thrown out like a [broken-off] branch, and withers; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire, and they are burned.

7 If you live in Me [abide vitally united to Me] and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.

8 When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you showand prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine.

9 I have loved you, [just] as the Father has loved Me; abide in My love [[a]continue in His love with Me].

10 If you keep My commandments [if you continue to obey My instructions], you will abide in My love and live on in it, just as I have obeyed My Father’s commandments and live on in His love.

11 I have told you these things, that My joy and delight may be in you, and that your joyand gladness may be of full measure and complete and overflowing.

12 This is My commandment: that you love one another [just] as I have loved you.

13 No one has greater love [no one has shown stronger affection] than to lay down (give up) his own life for his friends.

14 You are My friends if you keep on doing the things which I command you to do.

15 I do not call you servants (slaves) any longer, for the servant does not know what his master is doing (working out). But I have called you My friends, because I have made known to you everything that I have heard from My Father. [I have revealed to you everything that I have learned from Him.]

16 You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed you [I have planted you], that you might go and bear fruit and keep on bearing, and that your fruit may be lasting [that it may remain, abide], so that whatever you ask the Father in My Name [as [b]presenting all that I Am], He may give it to you.

Amplified Bible (AMP)

3 If then you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

2 And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth.

3 For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God.

4 When Christ, Who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in [the splendor of His] glory.

5 So kill (deaden, [a]deprive of power) the evil desire lurking in your members [those animal impulses and all that is earthly in you that is employed in sin]: sexual vice, impurity, sensual appetites, unholy desires, and all greed and covetousness, for that is idolatry (the deifying of self and other created things instead of God).

6 It is on account of these [very sins] that the [holy] anger of God is ever coming upon the sons of disobedience (those who are obstinately opposed to the divine will),

7 Among whom you also once walked, when you were living in and addicted to [such practices].

8 But now put away and rid yourselves [completely] of all these things: anger, rage, bad feeling toward others, curses and slander, and foulmouthed abuse and shameful utterances from your lips!

9 Do not lie to one another, for you have stripped off the old (unregenerate) self with its evil practices,

10 And have clothed yourselves with the new [spiritual self], which is [ever in the process of being] renewed and remolded into [fuller and more perfect [b]knowledge upon] knowledge after the image (the likeness) of Him Who created it.

11 [In this new creation all distinctions vanish.] There [c]is no room for and there can be neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, [nor difference between nations whether alien] barbarians or Scythians [[d]who are the most savage of all], nor slave or free man; but Christ is all and in all [[e]everything and everywhere, to all men, without distinction of person].

12 Clothe yourselves therefore, as God’s own chosen ones (His own picked representatives), [who are] purified and holy and well-beloved [by God Himself, by putting on behavior marked by] tenderhearted pity and mercy, kind feeling, a lowly opinion of yourselves, gentle ways, [and] patience [which is tireless and long-suffering, and has the power to endure whatever comes, with good temper].

13 Be gentle and forbearing with one another and, if one has a difference (a grievance or complaint) against another, readily pardoning each other; even as the Lord has [freely] forgiven you, so must you also [forgive].

14 And above all these [put on] love and enfold yourselves with the bond of perfectness [which binds everything together completely in ideal harmony].

15 And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ’s] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].

16 Let the word [spoken by] Christ (the Messiah) have its home [in your hearts and minds] and dwell in you in [all its] richness, as you teach and admonish and train one another in all insight and intelligence and wisdom [in spiritual things, and as you sing] psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, making melody to God with [His] grace in your hearts.

17 And whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus and in [dependence upon] His Person, giving praise to God the Father through Him.

**Keep striving for perfection cause even when you fail or succeed. Promises from the Grace of GOD

**By Faith you can wake up to live another day don't quit just try, try again.....be Mindful of the"Words", - that come out of your mouth and the deeds that follow, negative words bring on a bad day; positive words, bring about a better attitude towards yourself and others so smile find the pathway to brighter days.........
